Ponzi Schemes and pyramid frauds take on many forms. One of the latest and most popular disguises for a Ponzi scheme is the “managed forex” investment. This is sold to the public as a fund where your monies are invested in the foreign exchange market (forex) by professionals who know how to successfully time the market in currencies and make a killing. While some people do make tremendous returns trading currencies in the forex market, i.e. George Soros, one must keep in mind that every forex trade has a winner and a loser – it is a zero sum game. Actually, it’s less than zero sum, because the brokerage hosting the trading always charges a fee. So, taken as a whole, forex traders take out less money than they collectively put in. So just making a profit is difficult. Anyone who guarantees outrageous gains, i.e. 3-5% every month or more, should be viewed with skepticism.

World Wide Investment Group, aka. WWI Group is one such company. For purposes of clarity, since there are many companies with this name, this company had the web addresses www.world-wideinvestment.com and www.wwicorporation.com and is run by Tyrone Daniel Gonzalez Gordillo of Colombia. Please note, Capital Conservator does not reveal the names of its clients; however, Mr. Gonzalez has acknowledged his account with us in an open letter to his investors so we are not in breach of confidentiality agreements.

We began an investigation into WWI as a periodic review. The company was formed in Panama in 2008. Mr. Gonzalez opened an account with us that same year. All the paperwork was in order at that time. The website he had given us had no information on it about his business, but some internet searches revealed WWI was soliciting business for a managed forex investment scheme offering unbelievable returns as well as commissions for finding them new business. Since this was not listed as the intended purpose for his account, we made some inquiries.

We contacted Mr. Gonzalez and requested information regarding his investments and activities. We only received a small fraction of what we requested. We informed WWI that their remaining funds were frozen until WWI provides us with documentation showing legitimate investments and to proceed pursuant to our “terms and conditions.” First and foremost, we wanted to know at which brokerage he was engaging in this “trading.”

This is an important question. Upon analysis of the hundreds of transactions and millions of dollars made by Mr. Gonzalez through his account with Capital Conservator, we did not see one move of any funds to a brokerage or trading house where he could perform the activities he purports on his solicitation materials. To this day, this question has gone unanswered. We can only conclude the obvious – there is no trading going on. He simply pays off older investors with funds from the new investors keeping a good deal for himself – a typical Ponzi scheme. The account activity does show this. The only wire we found that might be construed as “an investment” was the movement of a large sum of money to a car dealer for the purchase of a luxury German automobile. However, we strongly believe this was not for investment purposes but for personal use.

It should come as no surprise that Mr. Gonzalez’s attorney contacted us some time ago asking why his client’s account was blocked. After we presented the case and all the evidence, his attorney informed us that he will no longer be representing WWI setting aside “any action or authority that connects me with WWI Group”<translated>. He also informed us that he would be leaving aside the presidency of Bancor Gaia Trust, Inc. There was no reason stated.

Now Mr. Gonzalez is claiming that we are holding his funds and that is the reason he is unable to pay off his investors. To be clear, millions of dollars have been moved through his account with Capital Conservator. There is a small fraction remaining of that total – no doubt far less than he would need to fulfill his obligations and promised returns. These funds will be released/unblocked should Mr. Gonzalez provide us with the information we requested and/or to the court (minus legal and administration fees) should Mr. Gonzalez be convicted of the fraud he is no doubt perpetrating on dozens if not hundreds or thousands of unsuspecting, trusting victims. We are more than happy to cooperate with any investigation into Mr. Gonzalez and WWI and to aid the authorities in ascertaining his whereabouts and his arrest.

Zanima me koliko je takšnih,ki niste pripravljeni pozabit na investicijo v wwi in ste pripravljeni se povezat,da jim damo vedet,da denarja ne bomo pustili.
Če bom približno vedela se bom lažje pogovarjala v skupnem imenu z odvetnikom,res je,da želim vse transparentno in preden bomo zbrali odvetnika,se bomo skupaj odločali. v slo so trije kateri delajo mednarodno pravo in sedež imajo v panami,kar je v našem primeru primerno saj je firma wwi registrirana v panami.
vsi trije odvetniki bodo dobili ponudbo in moj predlog je,da vzamemo najugodnejšega. Ponudba bo za izvensodno poravnavo,če na to ne bodo odreagirali bodo podane kazenske ovadbe za vse lastnike.

A bote glavne promotorje v Sloveniji tudi sodno preganjal,so veliko ljudi prepričal kako je to oh pa sploh?Ampak kaj je tukaj zelo zanimivo,prvo vpletejo na tisoče ljudi iz vse evrope potem so pa prvi pri nekih tožbah ki so že zdaj obsojene na propad in še nekoliko tanjšo denarnico zaradi tega!

Bitka mislim,da je forum zato,da si pomagamo in ne podpihujemo.Slovenski promotorji nimajo z naložbo nič skupnega ampak samo lastniki wwi-ja.Z pozitivno informacijo lahko pomagaš,drugače pa nepotrebne pripombe poslabšujejo zadevo,razen,če boš ti prevzela na svoj način in nam tako omogočila vračilo naložbe.Kako se tem stvarem streže vem,ker delam v odvetniški pisarni,samo,da ne zastopamo mednarodnega prava.
Pravnih nasvetov ne potrebujem,ker forum ni pravi naslov. Na forum sem se obrnila zato,da dam še komu možnost,da pristopi zraven,sicer pa vsakem primeru bom sama to sprevedla

tudi jaz sem mnenja, da promotorji niso nič krivi pri tem. Lej, če bi uspelo, potem tut nebi noben tulil, da naj damo promotorjem en del zaslužka, ker so nam za to povedali, in tako bi se dalo še in še diskutirat.
